WHAT IS RETENTION IN PALZIN TRACK?

User Retention

User retention measures the percentage of active users after a certain number of days post-signup on website or app installation. Consider:

  • Ideal usage frequency: Daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
  • Calculate retention based on entry and returning conditions.

Why User Retention: Retention is crucial for long-term success. It reflects the value your product delivers, contributing to sustained revenue growth.

Usage

In Palzin Track > Metrics > Retention we have the below component to help you.

  • Retention Graph: The retention graph is derived by computing a weighted average, with the weight assigned based on the number of users in each cohort, from the weekly retention data found in your acquisition cohort table. In this calculation, a user is classified as retained only if at least one event from the specified report setup was triggered within the selected time range.
  • Most Retained Users For Last 30 Days: Shows the list of the users that have performed events in the past 30 days.
  • Recent 5 Power Users: Shows the list of the users that have performed at least one event in the past 7 days.
  • Recent 5 Drifting Users: Shows the list of the users that haven't performed any event in the past 7 days.
